Kuan Yin Candle with Pendant

This Kuan Yin candle is made with a blend of pure essential oils, including sandalwood. It is 2" x 3" and comes with a Kuan Yin pendant, about 1" in size. Each candle is hand made by the artist Montserrat. The charms can be worn, or placed on an altar. The pendant is tied with raffia. The candle is orange golden on top blending into a beautiful burgundy at the bottom.

Kuan Yin is the Goddess of Compassion and Mercy. She is the one "who hears the cries of the world". Legend says that Kuan yin, originally a princess, having forsaken marriage, lived her life in a convent, much to her father's anger and distrust. She was a Buddhist Bodhisattva, which is a mortal who has achieved enlightenment and earned the right to enter Heaven or Nirvana. When she was at the gates of Heaven, she heard someone on earth cry, and she turned back, vowing that she would stay on earth to do all she could do to ease our suffering. She would not enter Heaven until everybody could go there with her.

This candle features a blend of Geranium and Nag champa and it comes blended in red and oranges. You will be amazed and pleased by the tantalizing scent of pure essential oils.
